Great flights and Spanish lessons!
Great flights ruled the day for our trek... Other than a 2 hour delay in Madrid, smooth flying! We arrived to customs and an adventure race through the airport to catch the flight to Malaga. Of course, when you are in rush to catch a plane--the custom people assign only 1 line for the VA group to clear the border. This results in groups sprinting to catch a plane that was in turn, delayed. Thanks.
We arrive in Malaga to gorgeous weather-get our bags, some Euros and embark on a 3.5 hr bus ride which turns into 5 due to traffic and the need to eat.
The youth hostel is not the "typical"--very nice! It is on a beach with clean rooms, no bugs and hot water. Plenty of opportunity to practice our Espanol... Dinner and an impromptu dodge ball game with local guests. G'nite, buenas noches!
